Charlie Williams is the Director of Ministry to Men (www.minisrytomen.net) based in St. Charles County, just west of St. Louis, MO. It is somewhat rare as a “parachurch” (“alongside the church”) ministry, in that it works closely with churches and pastors of many denominations to strengthen those churches and pastors…while encouraging men through many methods and venues to be daily followers, disciples, of Jesus. In this 10-minute radio conversation Charlie clearly explains their impacting work … and also talks about his new book to help men … one “Charlie letter” at a time … simply called: Letters from Charlie.
Their website www.ministrytomen.net summarizes the ministry’s vital role:
To help men in their understanding and application of the role God has called them to as spiritual leaders in:
Their homes… Their churches… Their neighborhoods… Their jobs…
And, yes, one can discover more about Charlie, the ministry’s focus, strategies, and the other key people involved at www.ministrytomen.net.
In my judgment, many ministries could use the example of the great work of Ministry to Men as a pattern for evangelistic, discipling, community impacting, church and pastor supporting, God pleasing and Biblically unifying (John 17: 20-23) ministry.
