In a desire to welcome Delrish Moss as Ferguson Missouri’s new Chief of Police, the Chaplain of Ferguson’s Police Department Pastor Jose Aguayo made it happen.
Joan and I were among several hundred who welcomed him from his law enforcement role in Miami, FL, at his installation as Police Chief here. And now I was able to extend that welcome and support on radio.
Wanting to move beyond the dark and tragic days in Ferguson, Mo, of 2014, you will be “warmed” in hearing his “heart.”
The stage had been set for improved Ferguson Police morale and relationships by the good work of his predecessor, the recent Interim Chief of Police, Andre Anderson. Radio with him, titled … “Ferguson Interim Police Chief Andre Anderson: “When Christ is in someone’s heart, changes happen!’” … can be accessed for anytime listening by clicking on http://haroldhendrick.com/content/view/734/5/ .
Just days earlier, Chief Moss was the guest of the Ferguson Ministerial Alliance. His remarks included the testimony of the importance of prayer in his life.
In recalling that experience at the Alliance, I was literally stirred out of my bed when I was reminded – from the Lord, I am convinced — of past radio that I had done with two of those Ferguson area pastors that attended that gathering … Charles Ewing and Aeneas Williams. Their stories and lives are further indicators of the works of God in and around Ferguson. I list them below.

So, again, welcome to Ferguson Chief of Police
